Dr Beljeet Daffu is Academic Dean at TLG and a senior leader in higher education with over 18 years’ experience across academic leadership, quality assurance, and institutional development. She has a strong track record of driving academic excellence, strengthening student outcomes, and supporting sustainable growth across the sector.

She has extensive experience working in collaborative university partnerships and has led the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate provision across university partnerships. Her career includes senior roles such as Interim Executive Dean and Strategic Academic Consultant, Director of Digital Delivery, and multiple Dean and Associate Dean positions within higher education, directing and leading multi‑campus operations, large academic teams, and diverse student cohorts.

Dr Daffu’s leadership is underpinned by a strong commitment to widening participation, equality, diversity, and inclusion. She has led curriculum and assessment strategies that improve continuation, completion, and progression, aligned with institutional, partner, and regulatory priorities. Her academic interests focus on blended and digital pedagogies that enhance engagement and student success.

She is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA) and holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Reading. Her research explores managerial careers, professional identity, and organisational culture within private higher education in the UK.
