The Language Gallery launches Certificate of Higher Education

The Language Gallery expands its programme portfolio, by introducing Certificate of Higher Education in partnership with St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, London.

This new one-year course is designed for students who do not quite meet the entry criteria to go directly into year 2 of an undergraduate degree. It is equivalent to 120 credits at Level 4, which is the same as the first level of a Bachelor’s degree.

The course helps students to gain confidence and skills in the specific subject area and can be used as the first step of several degree levels or career progression.

The Cert HE course is currently available in business and management, it will introduce students to the essentials of business and management and key business concepts and will cover the following subjects:

  • Introduction to Management
  • Organisational Behaviour
  • Digital Business
  • Professional Skills
  • Contemporary Marketing Practice
  • Financial Management

This can be useful as a first step towards a business-related degree or as a beneficial stand-alone qualification.
