TestDaf Preparation

The TestDaf exam is the standardised German language test students use to measure their proficiency in the language and facilitate admittance to German universities. For students interested in taking TestDaf, this course will equip you with the knowledge you’ll need to pass your TestDaf exam.

You will develop your theoretical understanding and practical skills of German grammar, structure and vocabulary while learning strategies to help you succeed in the TestDaf exam.

Outcomes

The course will focus on bringing your German listening, reading, writing and speaking skills and you will be provided with the tools to understand how to:

Give your view and argue pros and cons
Present information from a diagram
Report or describe something
Create scientific language structures
Create causal and conditional clauses.

After completing this preparation course, students will be ready to take the TestDaF examination at one of the 4 TestDaf Examination centres in Hannover. Upon achieving their desired score, students will be free to progress onto the German university or college course of their choice or begin to pursue their career in any sector.

After taking this course, you will:

Understand a wide range of longer texts and recognise implied meaning
Express yourself fluently and spontaneously
Be confident and ready to sit for your TestDaf exam.
