ACADEMIC DIRECTOR
Hi, my name is Lea and I have been working at TLG as the Academic Director since 2015. I am responsible for the development and delivery of the educational programmes across the whole group of schools. In TLG we pride ourselves on our friendliness, and our commitment to student happiness and success. Come and join us and find out for yourself why so many of our students would recommend us to a friend.
ACADEMIC MANAGER
Hi, I’m Elaine and I’m the Academic Manager here at TLG London. I’ve been teaching and training for 25 years and have worked in France, the Czech Republic and Lebanon. I’ve only been working in the UK for a year and I’m enjoying the opportunity of meeting students from all over the world. See you soon!
Teacher
Hi, my name is Robert Steward. My background is in business but I have taught General English, Medical English, Cambridge Exam Classes and IELTS for many years as well as having been an Academic Manager. I have the CELTA, DELTA and a HNC in English language teaching. The best part of my job is that I have the opportunity to constantly move towards improving learning and teaching techniques, and it’s my aim to make learning more entertaining and engaging for you.
TEACHER
Hi, I’m Olivia. I have been teaching here in London for two years and before that I was teaching in Spain. I love my job because I can find out what people think from all over the world and it gives me the opportunity to share everything wonderful about English. I’m very fond of both London and the countryside too, so feel free to ask me for advice about things to do in the city and the rest of the U.K. Look forward to meeting you!
TEACHER
Hi, my name is Zsofi. I was born and bred in Hungary but I’ve been living and teaching abroad for almost 10 years now. I’m amazed by the cultural diversity around us, which keeps me moving and motivated all the time. I love a lot of things about the places where I’ve lived so far. Just to name a few: Hungarian folk music, Spanish language, Indian colours and textures, the sound of Chinese pipa and zither, Latvian traditional patterns and last but not least English apple crumble. I hope to meet you soon in London!
TEACHER
Hello, I’m James. I’m a teacher at TLG London. I’ve been teaching since 2003, during which time I taught abroad in Poland and Spain before moving to London in 2008. I love the opportunity teaching offers me to meet people from all over the world and help them achieve their goals. I adore London, and its multiculturalism, museums, parks, and iconic public transport make it hard for me to imagine living anywhere else. I hope you will love it as much as I do!
TEACHER
Hi, I’m Erin. I teach and also run SMART Learning at the school. That means you can join me and other students in our student lounge for free, fun activities that get you talking. I also take our students out to get to know London on SMART Trips. I’ve been teaching since 2009 in London and abroad, including Spain, Poland and Mexico and I love exploring the world every day through my time with my students. I can’t wait to meet you!
TEACHER
Hello, I’m Cynthia. I have been teaching English for more than 12 years – and I love it. It means I get to meet students from all over the world plus it’s a great way to learn about other countries and cultures. Hope to see you soon!
TEACHER
My name is David and I teach English for Work and some General English. I spent many years living in Russia doing voiceovers for films and teaching English in schools, businesses and to diplomats. I have also spent many years travelling, writing and working in private tuition but am now settled in the place where I was born. I also work as a guide, sharing the history, culture and stories of the city I love. I hope you will also be enchanted by London.
