Hi! My name’s Jeni and I’m the Birmingham school's Academic Manager. I’ve worked training teachers and running schools all over the world, including in Japan and Russia, as well as the UK. I have also spent the last four years in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, so I’m looking forward to some cool British weather! I’m a mad sports fan, particularly football, tennis, and Formula 1. I really hope we can welcome some Liverpool fans this year--we need the support! I love playing badminton, swimming, and have a real passion for amateur dramatics, and even appeared in the fantastic Edinburgh Festival once. I look forward to meeting and welcoming you to our school!

Hi, I’m Malika. I have been teaching English since 2011 in the UK, working with a wide range of young learners and adults from all over the world. I joined the TLG team in 2012 and have enjoyed every single minute of it. The intercultural ‘melting pot’ environment we work in is just amazing.
Hi, I’m Steve. After briefly working in the oil industry, I have been working as an EFL teacher since 2008, and have taught in South Korea, China, Ukraine and Vietnam, as well as here in Birmingham. It was my love of travelling and meeting new people that inspired me to start teaching. I find that greeting new students and learning about their cultures is the best part of my job. I look forward to working with you at TLG!
My name is Dimitris and I am an ESL Teacher at The Language Gallery in Birmingham. I qualified as a language teacher in 2004 and I started teaching in 2007. So far, I have taught English in Spain, Italy, and the UK. I was born in Greece but I have lived in several European countries. I like music, cinema and literature, and I am a keen language learner.
Hello, I’m Luke. I’ve been teaching English since 2010. I taught in Korea and Hungary before coming back to the UK. I enjoy being a part of the TLG team and am committed to helping students improve their English skills. Especially their IELTS band scores...!
Hi, I'm Matt. I've been teaching English since 2004 and find it a hugely rewarding and enjoyable experience. I grew up in Birmingham and came back to this wonderful city after studying and working in Sheffield, London, Spain and Portugal. TLG Birmingham is a fabulous place to work because of the people here - great colleagues and a fascinating bunch of students from all over the world. I love spending time with my family, reading and listening to music. I’m also a big football fan (but I’m not a Man Utd., Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool fan… Keep guessing!)
Hi, I'm Charlie. I have been teaching since 2009 and love it! I have taught here in the UK, China, Saudi Arabia and Thailand. I have just recently joined the TLG Birmingham team and this has been brilliant so far. I am passionate about food (I love to eat), travelling, learning about new cultures and training martial arts. I am currently a Muay Thai champion (Thai boxing). I get great joy out of seeing my students improve their language skills.
Hi my name’s Elana. I’ve been teaching since 2014. I have taught in Spain and the UK. I grew up in London then moved to Coventry to study and now I live in Birmingham! Being part of the TLG is amazing, the staff is supportive and the students are from diverse backgrounds. I love food (particularly eating!), reading, listening to music and the movies; I’m a massive Marvel fan, Marvel all the way! I look forward to teaching and getting to know each of you.
Hello, I’m Angela! I’m from Canada, but recently moved to England. I’m really enjoying getting to know my new home, though I wish the weather would sort itself out…
I’ve been teaching English since 2009, in South Korea, China, Vietnam, and now England. I love interacting with learners, learning about their cultures, and helping them achieve their learning goals. I look forward to meeting everyone!
