University of Chester announced as The Language Gallery’s latest University Pathway Programme partner
London, 19 March 2018 – The University of Chester and The Language Gallery (TLG) have finalised an agreement making Chester the latest university to partner with TLG for its University Pathway Programme (UPP) in the UK.
The UPP was created by TLG to help students from abroad apply to UK universities. International students planning to study for a degree abroad need to meet the language requirements of their conditional offer, and the UPP will help them gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their application.
The University of Chester is the third partner to join TLG in delivering the programme in 2018, following similar agreements with De Montfort University and Anglia Ruskin University earlier this year, and one with Bangor University in 2016.
Simon Power, Managing Director of The Language Gallery, said; “We are delighted to see our network of partner institutions in the UK growing so quickly.
“Thanks to these partnerships, our students can gain easier access to the degrees offered by these universities without having to take the IELTS test or any other external English language exam. Our partner institutions will in fact recognise the UPP as a substitute to these exams.
“At TLG, we work to deliver language education that can make a difference in people’s lives and professional development. The UPP represents a great chance for people to pursue their study abroad, and also for universities to open their degrees to an international audience.”
TLG’s University Pathway Programme is also available in Berlin, Hannover, Vancouver and Toronto, where TLG has a partnership with Toronto School of Management.
